What to Expect
Celebrity Takeover is designed as an immersive day of learning, creativity, and cultural exchange.
The experience begins with Maju Freitas, whose Vogue session explores confidence, musicality, expression, and the rich culture behind one of the world’s most influential dance styles.
Following a short break for networking, photos, and a Q&A session, Daniel Lenka takes over with an open workshop that draws from his unique journey—from a small South African township to performing and teaching on international stages.
Together, these sessions create an inspiring dialogue between two artists, two cultures, and two unique approaches to movement.

From Campo Grande, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
International performer, creative, and Vogue artist, Maju brings authentic Brazilian energy and years of experience to Johannesburg. Her workshop focuses on confidence, self-expression, musicality, and embracing movement without limits.
Daniel Lenka
From South Africa to the Global Stage
Daniel’s journey is one of passion, perseverance, and purpose. His open workshop blends technique, creativity, and performance while encouraging dancers to discover their own voice through movement.
